As discussed today, visual advertisement peaks interest and questions. Being a member of AL4US means I get to wear the American Legion polo shirt, so its advertising both American Legion and Amateur Radio. I also tend to carry around the hand held, which also brings up questions.

I consider these my 'training wheels' until I can afford to expand the inventory.

Talk about antenna farms - this was a transmitter site in Greece. I worked here for a year then shifted over to the receiver site. We closed the base in 1990, canabalized the vans, dropped all the antennas, and the site was bulldozed. Many agree it was a favorite location both for frequencies and living. Its now part of Schinias National Park where the 2004 Olympics held rowing and canoeing events
