KQ4MKV

I admit the casing on some of these radios are pretty ugly but they do the job. The map is showing how my nodes mesh from my home base node to the nearby park. The krk1 is my home node which connects to the krk2 node which connects to the krk4 node, which allows me to reach back to my house. I parked my car node (krk2) in an area of this local park im in at an elevation that it can connect back to my home. without the krk2 node in the parking lot i could not reach back to my home node from the krk4 node which i have on me walking around the park. The distance from my house to the park isnt that far (2 miles) but is to be expected with the current elevation of my nodes as well as the fact of how many watts they transmit. my base station is currently set at ~950mw, but looses significant transmission and reception signal due to the extremely low quality feed line of about ~20ft running from the home base node first floor to the antenna on the second story roof. I have been recommended by other meshtastic users online to use a solar powered node attached to the antenna mast with a feedline of less than a foot, but have not got around to it yet.
